Little Dachshund Life Pt.1

Today, it became more evident to me just how different all my little daxie's are! Now, obviously I have known this for quite some time, but when it comes to training, it really becomes evident just how different these guys are when it comes to encouraging certain behaviours and motivating them!

Starky for instance, has taken a great liking to running with me. I have his full attention and need for interaction when we engage in a bit of running initially, some basic obedience, then the reward of trail finding and sniffing.

Luna, is chaos with her balls skills and is so happy and fulfilled in life when she is able to expend energy through chasing her ball!

Maple is a plodder, loves life and is simply motivated by food and praise! She is of an age (7) where life doesn't interest her as much as a bag full of munchies!

Ottis, Ottis is pending. This little ball of fuzz is full of personality, over spilling into every aspect of his life, he's happy for food, play and cuddles. It will be interesting to see where Ottis' love goes to. Due to this, I will continue to keep his main source of training motivation, by using food!
